Local Practice Session Data:

• Typing speed (Words Per Minute)
• Typing accuracy percentage
• Number of characters typed
• Session duration
• Number of keystrokes and errors

No Personal Information: We do not collect any personal information such as:

• Names, email addresses, or contact information
• The actual text content you type
• Passwords or sensitive form data
• Browsing history beyond the hostname for practice sessions

How Data is Stored

• Local Storage Only: All practice session data is stored locally in your browser using the browser’s extension storage API (Firefox’s browser.storage or Chrome’s chrome.storage)

• User Control: You can clear all stored practice data at any time through the extension popup

Permissions Explained

Our extension requires the following permissions:

• activeTab: To interact with the currently active webpage for typing practice
• contextMenus: To add “Start typing practice” to the right-click context menu
• storage: To save your practice session statistics locally in your browser
• <all_urls>: To allow typing practice on any website you visit

Data Usage

Technical Implementation
